Hi everyone at SW Superbikes.
Since purchasing a new Yamaha FZ8 from you on the 1st September, then being involved in an accident and receiving your support to put right my beloved bike, I wanted to thank each and every one of the team down there in Newport for what can only be described as superb service with attention to detail.

Never before have I been to a motorcycle shop that gives the customer 100% attention in whatever they may require yet manages to maintain a wonderfully friendly, and often humorous, atmosphere. Please pass on my thanks to everyone, especially Phil and Chris, these guys took the worry out of having my bike repaired and have both gone that extra mile to make everything a pleasure and not a chore. My continued support for your business is guaranteed, I really do appreciate all the support I have received.

Holiday Saved!

With a group of Dutchmen I recently took part in a 9-days motorcycle trip through Wales and southern England. On a Saturday after close of business I experienced a punctured tyre. Use of an emergency repair kit made it possible to reach my hotel, which was luckily not too far away.

 On Sunday morning I started an extensive range of phone calls to motorcycle dealers and to my insurance company. The latter wanted to repatriate both me and my bike back to Holland. I didn’t agree and continued my investigation to find a local solution to my problem. After noticing that a) almost all dealers were closed on Sundays and b) the one I found that was opened didn’t have in stock the right type of tyre for my Triumph.

I saw the advertisement of South Wales Superbikes in the Yellow Pages: open on Sundays from 11:00 till 16:00! I phoned and talked to Phil, who was extremely helpful. If I would succeed in delivering my bike some hours before closing time, he expected that a replacement tyre could be definitely installed on the next Monday morning and possibly even right away on Sunday before 16:00. My insurance company arranged a recovery vehicle that arrived at my hotel within the hour and one hour later my bike was at South Wales Superbikes. Another 30 minutes later the new tyre was installed, even though the workshop was closed.

 This very good service of the team of South Wales Superbikes was of course highly appreciated by myself and by my fellow travelers. Once again: thanks!



Hi Guys

Just want to send you a message about your great customer service.   I have been using South Wales Superbikes for a number of years to purchase many accessories, parts, clothing… get the idea, and also 6 out of the 8 bikes I have owned have come from you.  There is a another dealer close by to my home but I still continue to come to you guys when ever I need to spend some cash.

Why? because your customer service is consistent, friendly, helpfull and reliable.

I am now the proud owner of a GSXR1000 all thanks to Dave and Phill.   The other day when just chatting Phill mentioned about a change of bike (I keep my bikes for a long time) conversation turned towards a Fazer 1000 and then Dave got involved and after discussing the pros and cons a test ride was booked for the following week.

Took the Fazer out – what a bike!!!! but not for me – would have no liscence left….Spent an hour chatting to Dave about the reasons why and umming and arring on what to do I mentioned that I would be back to look for another bike as I was leaving Dave showed me the GSXR1000 ,took her outside and started her up…..My mind was made up….Sold….The next day I was back down and within 30 mins the bike was mine.

Dave thanks for your support and taking the time to talk to me listening about my umming and arring and thanks for selling me the GSXR.   Phill and the rest of the team Brian, Paul, Anne, Chris and all the others thanks for all the times I have visited for the welcome and great customer service you have given me. So to anyone else who reads this if you want to experience great customer service, friendly atmosphere, and have some cash to spend visit South Wales Superbikes.

Hi guys.I would just like to thank you all so much for going out of your way to help me when I needed it.  I am always the first to complain when things don’t go well and so now I feel obliged to balance the scales. I have never recieved such good service or customer focused care in my entire experience of being a customer.  Within 10 minutes of phoning Phil, asking for help after breaking down the bike was recovered.  Within 20 minutes the van driver dropped me off in work and witin the hour a courtesy bike was delivered to me in work.  Everyone there is always so helpful.  Thanks! I really do appreciate it. Breaking down is probably the worst thing that could happen to anybody, yet you guys really did make it a painless experience.  P.s the heated gloves are fantastic. Thanks again, Tony Hughes


Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank-you so much to Richard & the team for helping me over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and you’ve done me a fantastic deal on the ZX6R which arrived today. The bike is stunning and was very well looked after by your driver Mark who delivered on time and took great care of her (yes I’ve named her already…. Kermit if you were wondering hehe). Well it is the right colour!

Will absolutely be seeing you again (despite the distance) when I find enough money for another ‘toy’!

I just had to drop you a line to say how helpfull Mike from parts and Paul from service was when i was in desperate need of a new rear tyre for my bike.

They bent over backwards to help when i was 100 miles from home on a Saturday afternoon on holiday, borrowing tools from the workshop because the workshop was fully booked and could not fit me in, helping me to take the wheel out, fitting the tyre and putting the wheel back in.

Paul did most of the fitting while Mike made sure the last tyre they had to fit my bike was there for me on arrival through a third party.

Well done lads your a credit to your employers and Yamaha.

Dear Brian

We haven’t met but I purchased some riding gear from Phil in Newport and always feel positive feed back should also be given. People are quick to bitch and moan and very seldom give credit when really due.

I have been in the UK for 5 years now (from South Africa) and bought lots of things all over the place. I have never experience such good service as I got at SW Superbikes from Phil, Syd and the lady in the spares (don’t tell her – I forgot her name….). Everybody is helpful, pleasant and goes out of their way to please with genuine warmth. Fantastic! Phil and Syd stayed on late to help fit a tank bag I purchased.

I have been in sales and client services most of my life and these guys excel with brilliant attitude, warmth and knowledge. Please give them all my thanks and a pat on the back. If I had a bike shop, I’d nick them from you!!

Take care and I can assure you of my continued support, you can never put a price tag on good service and friendliness.

Dear Sirs

Following the recent purchase of the Honda Transalp and the telephone conversation with Colin on the 4th June I would like to place on record my delight, not only with the Bike, but the service,assistance and friendly co-operation I experienced in the purchase and delivery procedure.

Although I live over 200 miles away, as you are no doubt aware, I purchased the machine on the images you kindly emailed me and the description of the bike that Colin supplied. I must say that the Bike’s condition in fairness is better than what I expected.

Your delivery driver (I think he’s called Mark) was extremely helpful, especially when he left home so early, arriving here at 8.30am. He didn’t even want any food or a hot or cold drink.

Just a quick note to say how impressed I have been with South Wales Superbikes,

And even then he was very friendly and professional having just driven for nearly 5 hours.

“I have spent forty years in the Motor Trade, many of those as a garage owner and have dealt with thousands of suppliers during that time.I recently tried to source some parts for my sons Jet ski (Kawasaki) as he lives and works in Kenya.

I tried Kawasaki direct who were quite unhelpful-possibly because the Ski is quite old. Several other dealers with whom I communicated were also incredibly offhand and showed no interest in obtaining parts for me.

I then rang your company and spoke to Phil Onions in your parts dept. He was immediately interested and helpful and took the details of all the parts needed.

He then said he would try his best to obtain all the required parts from Kawasaki . Two days later he rang to say he had the parts ready for collection.

The most impressive thing to me was how professionally and courteously he dealt with all of this. I have since collected the parts again being dealt with courteously.

So may I congratulate your company for making dealing with you all a pleasure!
